• How to Enter

1.1 Participants must:

Follow Staff Skills academy+ on LinkedIn

and

Complete the Staff Skills academy+ Christmas Competition form via this webpage, whereby they enter their full name, email address and company name.

1.2 For opening and closing dates, see “When to Enter and Who Can Enter” below.

1.3 Upon completion of the requirements above, you will be automatically entered into the prize draw. There are no other methods of entry. 

1.4 Only one entry per person and per company is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

•  When to Enter and Who Can Enter

2.1 The opening date for entries is 09:00 on 10/12/2024. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 10/01/2025. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
2.2 The prize draw is only open to legitimate UK-registered companies.
2.3 The prize draw is open to participants aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.
2.4 This offer is for new customers only — existing and previous customers are not eligible to participate.

• Prize

3.1 The winner will receive 12 months of free access to our unlimited access package, for a maximum of 25 users. The prize is valid from the date of LMS account creation by the sales team, ending 12 months later.

3.2 The prize is as stated above and is non-transferable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances. No alternative or add-ons are offered.
3.3 Winners must agree to the standard terms of our Staff Skills academy+ contract to redeem the subscription.

3.4 No additional prizes will be given out as part of the prize draw.

• Winner 

4.1 A total of 1 winner will be selected at random from eligible entries.

4.2 A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 14/01/2025.

4.3 The winner will be notified by email (using details given by the participant via the form submission) between 14/01/2024 and 28/01/2024.

4.4 If the winner does not respond to the Promoter’s notification within 14 working days of being notified that they have won, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. 

4.5 The decision of Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 

4.6 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails support@staffskillsacademy.co.uk within one  month after the draw date. 

4.7 If you object to any or all of your name, company name and winning entry being published or made available, please contact us on support@staffskillsacademy.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 

• Data Protection and Publicity

5.1 Participants will be automatically opted into our marketing communications and are able to opt-out at any time. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

5.2 By entering the prize draw, you agree that the Promoter may contact you in relation to the prize draw. You must provide accurate contact details on notification.

• Additional Prize Draw Rules

6.1 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. 

6.2 Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 

• Liability 

7.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

7.2 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7.3 academy+ reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process, violating these terms and conditions, or acting in a disruptive or fraudulent manner.

• Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 The prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by English Law. The courts of England & Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these terms and conditions..
